Dear Henri: The safest way to do that would be to stop arguing, and

In other words, it's not about being right, it's about taking sides?

Dear Henri: You explain everything with "fields". I describe
everything with varying ether density and flow. It's logical that the
latter obeys the inverse square law. With just "fields", how do you
explain Newton's gravity without resorting to space-time? And if
ether flow isn't gravity, what do you say that gravity is? ——

Dear Henri: If you won't "try" to explain gravity, would you at least
be open-minded enough to consider my explanation that gravity is just
ether flowing down toward the Earth to replace the ether being lost by
radiation into space? —— NoEinstein ——

Dear Henri: I've got you pegged: To your credit, you've tried very
hard to understand what is going on in nature. But you've tried so
hard that when I came along with simple explanations that fit, your
ego is just too hurt, because you didn't see things that are so
simple, yourself. The state of physics, today, is 90% ego, and 10%
truths——just like your understanding of what's what in Nature. ——

I enjoy the truth, you enjoy your fantasies about doing something
important. You are good for some entertainment and for occasional
humor to show how people can misunderstand science. But you are not
going to change or learn about science, so enjoy your delusions.

To Henri, science is deciding what name you'd like to be called.

You not liking it is not in any way a self refutation.
It has not been shown to make wrong predictions even though you
seem to believe that the world has been lying for a hundred years.
