| Just a brief reminder about some items of interest up for auction: SABOTAGE (Games for Fame, 1943) - A rare vintage card game coming right out of World War II. In keeping with the war effort, the theme of the game is for two, three or four players (or two teams) to establish at least three factories (Tank, Aeroplane and Shipping) to produce valuable and needed suppies to defeat the Axis while trying to avoid the damaging effects of bombs and SABOTAGE! CAMPAIGN!: THE AMERICAN GAME OF GO (1961) - Published in 1961 during the time of the Centennial of the War Between the States. The game board is made up of squares 18 long and 15 wide, with various "battlefields" (Vicksburg, Gettysburg, Shiloh, Chattanooga and New Orleans) interspersed among the blocks. Each player starts with 72 wooden discs. Each turn, a player rolls the dice and adds discs to his or her lines, attempting to surround the battlefields in order to get the points assigned to each battlefield. The battlefields are worth different points to each player, depending on the size of the battlefield and the distance from the player's home base. The back of the board includes full color illustrations and story of important events in the Civil War. 21 FREEZE OUT (Ponder Mason) - his is a rather clever card game/ board game where players attempt to complete a run of 5 cards equal to but NOT exceeding 21. But you can "freeze" cards (and "unfreeze" them), "blizzard”"(by removing all the cards in play from all players) and more including partnership play! UNCOMMON! PECKING ORDER (Winning Moves) - Brilliant two player games where players fight it out with 12 birds of varying values, trying to claim the 10 best feeding locations. But since only one bird is allowed at any one space, there's competition. The object of the game is to cleverly place your birds, bluff and counter-bluff. The player who claims the best feeding spaces is the winner. The first game in the Immortal Eyes series. Designed by Richard Garfield (Magic, the Gathering). MINT CONDITION, STILL SEALED IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINKWRAP! PLUS issues of The General and Stategy & Tactics (WITH games) and some 3M sports games! And more! NO RESERVES!
